Manager, Property Project Management

We're searching for a Lead, Property Projects to join a small, multidisciplinary property team in Wellington. This pivotal role focuses on providing project leadership and oversight across our entire property projects portfolio, made up of smaller, diverse projects. This is a people management role and previous hands on leadership is essential!

Key Responsibilities:

• You'll support the property projects team in successfully delivering all projects while our project managers will handle the day-to-day execution of individual projects. Your role will involve:

  • Providing strategic oversight and leadership for the entire project portfolio.

  • Engaging in ad hoc project work as needed.

  • Developing and coaching our junior project managers and coordinators, imparting your knowledge and acting as a mentor.

  • Offering support and guidance for project managers when things get tough, building their confidence and professional development.

  We're looking for someone with hands-on project management experience, specifically in commercial or retail property projects, including space rebuilds or fit-outs.
